The Lack of Spiritual Life

 There is not much said today about the disintegration of the American family. There are books, articles, blogs, and videos on single-parent living, but only a little about why this is happening.

I am not an expert on marriage and divorce; I can only relate to what I have experienced in my fifty-four years as a minister. I have heard for many years the number one problem is marriage is material. I'm afraid I have to disagree with this being the main issue. It is not how much money is brought home by husband or wife but rather the spiritual condition of both.

The lack of a holy spiritual condition deprives the spiritual unity that makes for a spiritually loving family. A sacred spiritual condition based on a personal relationship with the LORD makes for a solid foundation. It gives a sense of mutual spiritual belonging to something more significant than the individual.

The American family has been in a spiritual crisis for some time. The lack of spiritual values in the family has created moral, ethical, and religious turmoil in our culture. 

From the time a child is born, they are programmed to ignore their spiritual life. Their life is surrounded by everything that divides people rather than unites them. They are programmed by the movies they watch, the music they listen to, the video games they play, and the social media they use. These foster selfishness, hedonism, greed, and a disregard for the sacred, destroying kindness, mercy, compassion, and respect for human life.

If you are a student of history, you know that the destruction of a nation of people comes from a spiritual-religious crisis, expressed in every culture by the decay of the family.

The family is the foundation of spirituality. God designed mankind to grow and survive through the family. God told Adam to multiply and replenish the Earth. How was this to happen? Gen.2:18 Then the LORD God said, "It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him a helper fit for him."

The very first institution God founded upon the Earth was the home (Gen. 2: 18-25). God established a marriage between a man and a woman. Scripture places tremendous emphasis on the sanctity of marriage. Marriage is integral to His plan. If we have weak marriages, we will have weak families. If we have weak families, we will have weak churches. If we have weak churches, we will have weak communities. And if we have weak communities, we will have a weak nation. That is why He demands that marriages be treated as sacred treasures. If spirituality falters and weakens, then it weakens, first of all, in the family tradition and family life. But once shaken in the family, it begins to weaken and degenerate in all human relationships and organizations.

We should understand that the troubles of the modern family lie in spiritual depravity, in the loss of culture and relationships in the family, and the absence of respect for the hierarchy established by God, but we do not seem to acknowledge the problem.  

More often than not, the relationship is based on sexual attraction and not on true love. Once the sexual attraction is gone, so is the marriage. And if there is no love? This tremendous creative power and man's supreme moral state fall apart, and disaster ensues.

Some say that love missing from a relationship will end in mutual disgust, hatred, suspicion, and family scenes,' which is a natural breeding ground for sick characters, psychopathic tendencies, neurasthenic lethargy, and vital 'failure.'

This often happens in the modern family. All values are turned upside down. Women cheat on their feminine nature, acting like men. Men cheat on their masculine nature, acting like women. The soul yearns for freedom and love, but being in the grip of a perverted understanding of self, relationships, and the world, it suffocates and blindly surrenders itself into the hands of cunning manipulators who skillfully impose patterns of behavior, tastes, and lifestyles. Is it any wonder our youth are confused about their gender? 

 A unique environment based on a spiritual life is needed for the personal and psychological development of the child. After all, here in a completely informal setting, in the process of daily life, a child sees the relationship between adults and people of different sexes at first less consciously, and then more and more consciously learns moral behavior and experience in solving problems, including everyday life. (More behavior is caught than taught.) If the spiritual aspect of life is ignored, a generation will not know God and live according to what they see right in their own eyes. The result--broken families.

Why I Will Not Vote For Todd Young

 Why am I voting for a third party? In the past four years, I have been very disappointed in the Republican Party at the State and Federal. Our governor is more like a Democrat than a Republican. Our State Senator Todd Young is an embarrassment. He cannot call himself a conservative with his voting record supporting increased spending. I will not continue to support a political party that lacks the backbone to stand up for America First. Every American should be angry about supporting the war in Ukraine. We have no business spending billionss of dollars, depleting our oil reserves, weakening our military weapon stock, and pushing toward a nuclear war to support a country that kills its own people.  Since 2014 the Ukraine government has waged war against its citizens. I am fed up with our political leaders' lies about why we must support another war. It is time America takes care of Americans. Sen. Todd Young does not seem to understand taking care of Americans First or protecting the future generation from excessive debt.

So, this year the Republicans will no doubt win both the House and the Senate in the Congressional race so, I will vote to make a change in Indiana. It is time to give Hoosier a choice. In many counties, the Republicans run unopposed. It is time to open the door to a party that will challenge the Republicans and holds their campaign promises with some accountability. I have been asked how I can support a political party that supports abortion. For years I have listened to the Republicans talk about Pro-Life legislation, and nothing happens. We still have abortions and still have promises. So maybe if there was a political party that would give the Republicans a challenge, they might be more accountable to their campaign pledges and do what they say they will do. So, I will be casting my vote for James Sceniak for Senate.

This year the Libertarian Party has the opportunity to gain the 10 percent needed to participate in the general primaries. A vote for Jeff Maurer as Secretary of State will not be wasted and will give Hoosiers a choice.

Per Indiana law, a political party must get a minimum of 10 percent in the Secretary of State's race to participate in the general primaries. They must get at least 2 percent to maintain ballot access. So, voting Libertarian for Secretary of State is a vote to give Hoosier voters more choices. This year the Secretary of State candidate is Jeff Maurer. He's running to ensure our elections are safe and secure. He wants you to get a receipt with your vote so you can verify your vote counted the way you intended. Most people do not know that the primary elections cost the taxpayer. Delegates select Libertarian candidates at the convention at no cost to taxpayers. For county and local races, they are officially nominated at county conventions. Delegates select other higher-level candidates at the state convention,

I will not vote for a candidate who is running unopposed. There should not be people running unopposed. The election process in Indiana limits who can run for a political office by unreasonable requirements. It is almost impossible for a suitable candidate not affiliated with one of two political parties to run for office due to the conditions to get on the ballot. It is time to change the process and stop giving control to just a few political tyrants.

My Lost Family

 For the past few weeks, the shortness of time and the world's condition has been on my mind. I have often thought of the members of my family who have not given their souls to Jesus Christ and where they will spend eternity. 

I understand how Paul felt in Roman 9 when he spoke about his fellow Israelites.

As a person who has given his life to the LORD and is guided by the Holy Spirit and in the will of God, I can say truthfully that I am concerned about my family. I am sad when I think those in my family have not accepted the LORD as their Savior. I am talking about my earthly family, and I do not know how to approach them with the message of salvation. They were raised in a Christian family; they know that Jesus died for their sins and that He has promised to forgive them and make them His family. They are descendants of a long line of ancestors who chose the LORD as their Savior. Our parents raised them to worship and serve the LORD. Our mother wept and prayed for them to find a way of salvation. Yet, they have not heard the voice of the LORD calling them to salvation. I have prayed for my children and grandchildren that they too find the way to salvation.

Every day I read about the wars spreading worldwide and the possibility of nuclear war. I see the number of "died suddenly" deaths occurring daily in the obituaries. I hear of the many who are stricken with cancer and heart and kidney diseases at a young age. All this makes me see the shortness of life and the importance of preparing for eternity.

My prayer is

Jehovah-Rophe, Your people are crying daily for their families to be saved. Heal and restore our lost loved ones into the faith in Jesus Christ. Heal their sin-sick souls. Bind every curse spoken against them. Cover and cleanse them with Your blood shed on the cross for their salvation. May they be born again and saved through Your mighty name. I trust in Your words as spoken to Isaiah. So shall my word be that goes forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it. Father, I know it is not Your will that any perish but come to salvation.

Many parents are reaching out to You, and I am reaching out to You, Lord, seeking salvation for my children. Our children have lost their way. Satan has blinded their eyes, and the ways of sin have a hold on them May the Holy Spirit speak to them and bring them back to Jesus Christ. 

Please help them to understand and spread your word. Please bring them back to You, Father. In Jesus' most precious name, AMEN!!

"Father, I'm asking You to send laborers across the path of my lost family, laborers who are equipped with the Word of God about salvation, Baptism in the Holy Spirit, healing, and deliverance. Send laborers who can communicate effectively with my family, so Your Word can reach their hearts. Amen.

WE ARE HEADING TOWARD NUCLEAR WAR. WHY?

 I do not have a degree in political science or international studies. I am just a common man with my own thoughts about things in our government. I do know this you will eventually get what is coming to you if you act like a bully. The Biden Administration continues to poke the Russian Bear and will ultimately pay a high price for their bullying.

Last week the New York Times ran a shocking article claiming that the U.S. intelligence community believes the Ukrainian government to be responsible for the August attack that killed Darya Dugina, the daughter of a prominent Russian philosopher. Kyiv conducted an al-Qaeda-style attack on an innocent civilian inside Russia. The murder of Dugina was a textbook definition of terrorism, which is "the use of violence or the threat of violence, especially against civilians, in the pursuit of political goals."

The U.S. government has used Ukarine to fight agaisnt Russia and is pushing the world toward a nuclear war. Here is the fingerprint of the Biden administration. In his own words, Biden said he would end the Nordstream pipelines. Nordstream pipelines were blown up, seemingly ending, at least in the near term, the possibility that Germany may find a way to save its economy by mending fences with its main energy supplier. A leading Polish politician thanked the U.S. for doing the job.

Then over the weekend, the bridge connecting mainland Russia to Crimea was bombed, killing at least six civilians and leaving part of the bridge underwater. Traffic was restored hours after the attack, but Russian President Vladimir Putin blamed Ukraine's intelligence service. We all know that Ukraine relies on its U.S. masters, so we can assume the U.S. provided the intelligence allowing the targeting of the bridge.

There is a pattern here. More and more brazen attacks are being launched against Russia, and Washington is doing little to hide U.S. fingerprints. Why?

Have you ever asked yourself why the U.S. is trying to destroy Russia? Could it be that there is an underlying motive that we are not being told about? If we know Russia could be pushed to use nuclear weapons, why would we continue to torment them to the point they respond with nuclear war? No one wins if there is a nuclear war.

So the question is if  Biden knows his proxy war against Russia is moving us closer to the unthinkable – nuclear annihilation – why does his Administration persist in crossing red line after red line? Biden's "experts" believe that Putin is bluffing and will do nothing about the Dugina assassination, the Nordstream pipeline sabotage, and the Kerch Bridge attack.

But what if they're wrong? Somewhere between 70 and 84 missiles targeted military and energy facilities. Russian President Vladimir Putin said his forces used "precision weapons" to target critical energy infrastructure and military command facilities. This was in retaliation for Kyiv's "terrorist" actions — a reference to Ukraine's attempts to repel Moscow's invasion forces, including an attack on a critical bridge between Russia and the annexed Crimean Peninsula that Putin called a "terrorist act" masterminded by Ukrainian special services.

Putin vowed a "tough" and "proportionate" response should Ukraine carry out further attacks that threaten Russia's security. "No one should have any doubts about it," he told Russia's Security Council by video.

The explosions in Kyiv and other cities came just a day after Putin blamed Kyiv for the massive explosion on a 12-mile bridge connecting Crimea with Russia. How many red lines must be crossed before Russia says enough is enough? 

I have been against this conflict since 2014, when the U.S. helped bring about a change in the Ukraine government. The reality of this conflict started in 2008 at the NATO Summit in Bucharest, where NATO issued a statement that said Ukraine and Georgia would become part of NATO. The Russians made it unequivocally clear that they viewed this as an existential threat and drew a line in the sand. Regardless of the Russian protest, the U.S. moved forward to include Ukraine in the West to make Ukraine a Western threat on Russia's border. Of course, this includes more than just NATO expansion. NATO expansion is the heart of the strategy. Still, it includes E.U. expansion as well, turning Ukraine into a pro-American liberal democracy, and, from a Russian perspective, this is an existential threat.

It's imperative to understand that, until 2014, the U.S. did not envision NATO expansion and E.U. expansion as a policy to contain Russia. Nobody seriously thought that Russia was a threat before February 22, 2014. NATO expansion, E.U. expansion, and turning Ukraine, Georgia, and other countries into liberal democracies were all about creating a giant zone of peace that spread all over Europe and included Eastern Europe and Western Europe. It was not aimed at containing Russia. What happened is that this significant crisis broke out, and the U.S.had to assign blame, and of course, they were never going to blame themselves. They were going to blame the Russians. So they invented this story that Russia was bent on aggression in Eastern Europe. Putin is interested in creating a greater Russia or maybe even re-creating the Soviet Union.

Before February 22, 2014, the U.S. did not think Putin was an aggressor. This is a story that our government invented so that they could blame Putin. The United States is principally responsible for the war in Ukraine. But no American policymaker, and hardly anywhere in the American foreign-policy establishment, and the MSM will want to acknowledge that line of argument and say that the Russians are responsible. 

Why do we, as Americans, support a war costing us tens of billions of dollars in military aid and moving us toward nuclear war over a conflict that has nothing to do with the United States?

 Why does the U.S. Administration – with the support of most Republicans in Congress – continue to send tens of billions of dollars in military aid and move us toward nuclear war over a conflict that has nothing to do with the United States?

The time to end U.S. participation in this war is Now! We must start demanding that our representatives stop this madness. We can start the change in the November elections by voting to put in office those who have America's first interest.
