Over the past few years, I have been warning about what is happening not only in America but worldwide. The spread of evil has reached a level impacting everyone on the planet. Satan knows his time is short and has pulled out all stops. There is a worldwide push to return to paganism. The worship of old gods of the past is being glorified and openly worshipped, while Christianity is being destroyed.
Worship of the ancient pagan gods is on the rise in many parts of Europe. Norse Neopaganism is becoming popular in Scandinavia, Germany, and elsewhere. Hellenic Neopaganism, or simply "Hellenism," is gaining popularity in Greece and the area around the Aegean.
Elsewhere in the world, particularly in Italy, Eastern Europe, and the United States, the ancient Roman state religion is coming back. As of 2017, these modern Romans even have an active, public temple to Jupiter, the Iuppiter-Perunus temple.
Altars are being built worldwide to the God Baal, the Hebrews' downfall. This revival of the old gods has taken hold in Rome, Greece, England, and even the United States. The blame for this revival of paganism falls directly on the leaders of Christianity. The tolerance of sin has weakened the message of the Gospel. The attitude that we should not offend has resulted in silence against evil. It is any wonder the world is looking for something to worship that allows them to practice any level of immorality. The Romans did not believe that their gods required humans to behave morally or that they punished immoral behavior. Is it any wonder sinful man would be attracted to the gods that allowed them to practice the excesses of sin and evil?
Jesus has warned us that as it was in the days of Noah, it would be the same in the last days. The evil during the time of Noah reached a level that the LORD said enough is enough. How much more will the LORD allow before he says enough is enough?
The Book of Genesis gives us an account of the foundation of paganism at the Tower of Babel. The structure of all worship of the old gods had their beginning around Babylon. The emergence of paganism is not new. The numerous attempts by the Synoguage of Satan to revive the old gods have never actually stopped.
We can still recognize traces of the Roman gods and goddesses in the artifacts that remain from the ancient civilization and the art that pays homage to them. Carvings of Janus still survive, and statues of Neptune spout water from city fountains.
Satan is the God of this world, just as 2nd Corinthians 4:4 declares. We see far too many articles on the internet today exposing the occult, but not enough that tie it all in with the Word of God. A bunch of facts will never make any sense until you shine the Light of God's Word upon it. The Word of God is the missing key. Satan is the God of this sinful world and controls his servants through occult organizations. Few people realize that Communism is simply a mask for the New World Order.
The city run by the Synagogue of Satan has symbols honoring the old gods. That city is Washington, D.C.
Obelisks have been built since ancient times. But why did Robert Mills and the Washington National Monument Society choose this shape to memorialize America's first president? Some people point to the importance of obelisks to the Freemasons. The Washington Monument stands at 555 feet tall, or 6,660 inches — close to the biblical "mark of the beast," 666.
However, skeptics point to the fact that, when the Washington Monument was designed in the 19th century, classic architectural design elements from the ancient Greek and Egyptian civilizations experienced a popular resurgence. According to this view, the architects of the monument were following the trends of the time.
The inside of the rotunda of the Capitol Building contains a painted fresco called the Apotheosis of Washington. Painted in 1865 by Constantino Brumidi, this artist previously worked at the Vatican. Some theorists believe it shows George Washington, draped in regal purple robes, becoming a god.
This theory is true: "apotheosis" means ascending to a god-like status. The symbolic piece also features 13 maidens representing the 13 original colonies. The group is flanked by Roman gods and goddesses, including Neptune, Mercury, and Minerva.
The Pentagon takes its name from its unique shape: A five-sided pentagon, or pentagram; however, some people believe its infinite design (as it is a pentagram surrounded by other, slightly large concentric pentagrams) is a sign of the occult.
The Statue of Freedom sits on top of the Capitol Building. The bronze figure wears a military helmet and holds a sword, laurel wreath, and shield. The statue is an allegory for the United States and is similar to Columbia.
Homages to Greek design can be found everywhere in Washington, DC. The Supreme Court building, the White House, the Jefferson Memorial, the Lincoln Memorial, and even the Capitol Building feature pillared entries, decorative friezes, and white stone construction like the ancient temples found in Greece.
Are these buildings a symbol of some strange connection between the Founding Fathers and various pagan gods, or were they simply subject to the neoclassical trends that were popular at the time of their construction?
The numerous attempts by the West to revive Rome also indicate that, in some sense, ancient Rome lives on in the modern Western way of life and thought.
Some historians even go as far as to suggest that Rome, as a civilization, never actually fell. In their opinion, it simply went through a dramatic transformation during late antiquity and the early Middle Ages, and, to some degree, ancient Rome lives to this day in the form of the modern West. Latin is still used in science and religious settings such as the Catholic Church. Many Roman legal terms are still in use today, though they tend to have different meanings, and many Western virtues are copies of old Roman virtues. For most of modern history, until the last century and a half, formal Western education was not far removed from ancient Roman education.
It could be that one does not have to reconstruct classical Rome to be Roman. In a sense, all Westerners are Romans since the West has inherited so much of Roman culture and values. Rome may not be eternal, but it is long-lived enough for the king of the Roman gods to have an active temple.
It is time to get right with God. The rapid change in the world today indicates that we are in the Last Days. Now is the time to seek the LORD; today is the day to do it.
