American Leaders Bashing The World

The course of American history changed forever on 9/11.  Under the Patriot Act Americans came under a law that represents the dark side of government.  Then with the loss of more freedoms from the National Defense Authorization Act our government has become a super bully not to just its own people but the entire world.

Our elected leaders have given authorization to the president of the United State to deploy the U.S. military to apprehend and indefinitely detain any person (including American citizens) who he believes “represents and enduring security threat to the United States.”  This type of power is unconstitutional and places every American citizen within the reach of this act.  Anyone could one find himself or herself branded as “belligerent” and subject to complete confiscation of his or her constitutional and civil liberties and incarceration in a military prison.

Under the 2014 NDAA our elected officials granted the federal government the power to constantly put Americans under surveillance.  What makes this so scary is this power is given to our present president who is waging war on humanity all around the world.  He is doing it like a belligerent teenager who has no respect for the law or authority.  He has "a pen and a phone" and will do what he wants.  He represents the worst of rogue leadership.

The blame cannot entirely rest on the shoulders of the president he is allowed to act this way because of the lawlessness of the ruthless and corrupt lawmakers in Washington.  The leadership of this country has gone beyond the rule of law and is constantly violating it--we are living in the time where “every man does what is right in his own eyes.”

The arrogance of our elected leaders in this country is frightening.  Who would have thought that you could go to jail for having raw milk or, storing rain water or, having “unregistered” shell casings, or arrested for having a legally obtained firearm with a legal permit to own and carry?  Who would have thought that search and seizure could be carried out without a warrant?  Who would have thought that for voicing your disapproval of the present administration your whole life would come under the scrutiny of the federal government? Yet, this is happening in America every day.  Americans are being forced to bow to the will of the government.  Not only are we forced to bow they demand all nations bend to their will and target any country that does not bow.   Syria is an excellent example of how we treat countries that have what we want but will not bow to our pressure.

Another country that has caught the wrath of American politicians, new media and the elite manipulators of policy and thought is Russia.  Russia is almost daily maligned by those in the news media, the progressives and the neoconservatives. Putin bashing is the hobby for those controlled by our government and it has become unrelenting.  Putin may have his own agenda for sure but he has turned his country around from the Stalin era where Russians were spied upon by the government, were jailed and even executed if the spoke against the Stalin regime.  What Russia was America is becoming.

Putin’s past with the KGB will forever make him a thug like Stalin, Hitler and today Assad.  What I find interesting is the same people who associate him with his past will not associate Obama with his past- communist influence, socialist leanings, Muslim training, Rev. Wright’s church or known criminals.  While Putin is accused of imperial ambition, Obama is carrying out imperial ambitions-Libya, Egypt, Syria, Iran, Afghanistan and Pakistan. Obama has a drone war going on that is world class and has killed thousands of innocent children.  Who bashes him?  No one.

We have senators in this country that would push us back into the Cold War Era.  Men like John McCain that wants to be at war with everyone.  There is no other nation in the world that causes more harm to more innocent people than America.  Our leaders are out of control, our president has bought the media hype of him being the Messiah and claimed a divine right to act the way he does.

Our elected leaders have for the majority become serial liars; they cannot be trusted to do what they were elected to do.  They have become rich off the backs of the American working man and woman.  They are a disgrace to the values this country once held; values that separated us from a world of tyranny and government bondage.

Today, public and private wrongdoing has become an art form and is out of control and the only ones getting caught are the ones our government chooses to prosecute.  Freedom is fast disappearing in the country.  Anyone speaking out against the government is marked as a criminal.

Americans who want this country to return to freedom and liberty guaranteed by our Bill of Rights and the Constitution are being marked as dissidents to be oppressed by the IRS, spied on by the NSA, and maligned by the news media.

Putin may not be the ideal leader but he is trying to save his country from those who would destroy it from within.  If he wants to come down hard on the Muslims or deport homosexuals that is the right of his country.  No one is upset with Saudi Arabia on how they treat Christians or how Muslim countries treat homosexuals, where is the outcry?

I don't live in Russia or Saudi Arabia, I live in America and enjoy my community and friends and that why I am concerned with the direction America is heading.   Before we start telling the rest of the world how they should govern their people we need to get our own house in order.  As bad as this may sound to a majority of people, we need to return to the old paths of righteousness and pray that we find forgiveness for the actions of this country before the judgment of God falls upon us and it will.

REACTION AND RESPONSIBILITY

How we as individuals react to situations in life often is labeled as proactive, passive or indifferent.  What is interesting is that there is really no such thing as indifference.  Indifference is a vacuum and nature abhors a vacuum.  Plants cannot be indifferent to sunlight or they die.  Of course in the end it will eventually die and this inevitably makes life look hopeless where we just throw up our hands and say what is the use?  But most of us will never give up completely.  So we have two choices, to act or not to act—both are reaction.  The way we react reveals certain knowledge about who we are.  We do not live or die unto ourselves.  Our reactions come from how we deal with the challenges of life and those whom we follow.

The leaders we have chosen to follow are often responsible for the reaction to the problems in our lives.  How we react or fail to react is based on the leadership we are following.

There will come a time in our lives when our own personal experiences of fear, unbelief, and rebellion are a reaction to the leadership we are following. Our first reaction is fear, can I trust them? Then when the lies are told—unbelief sets in.  Then we realize that if things don’t change soon we will have lost everything—then we rebel.  This comes about when we do not accept the Truth nor follow the right leadership.

There was a time in history when the Hebrews followed the right leader—Moses, but their reaction to his leadership was to reject him and they desired to return to the bondage of Egypt.  They were willing to choose a leader who would give them what they wanted even if it was the wrong choice.

The choice made by the Hebrews resulted in them wandering in the wilderness until an entire generation died.  Their reaction to the leadership of Moses revealed a people who were self-centered, without a vision of the future, lacked faith in the promises given to them and were quick to forget the freedom and liberty they had been given.  God was ready to destroy them but their rightful leader (Moses) wept for them and was willing to sacrifice his life for them.  This is the character of a true leader.  He was willing to give-up all for his people.  Unlike leaders today who take all from their people and leave them begging for help.

Hundreds of year later we see another leader who was weeping for his nation that was wasted and desolate—Nehemiah.  He was moved to weep, because of the spiritual condition of his nation that brought about their destruction.

Today, people choose the wrong leaders and fail to see the destruction that is coming, because they are self-centered, without a vision for the future, lack faith in the promises made to them and are quick to forget the freedoms and liberty we have been given.  The prophet was right when he said when they say peace and safety then sudden destruction comes.

Our reaction to the leadership of this country is leading us down the road of destruction.  We cannot hear the cry of the poor, we have turned our heads away from justice, our faith is gone and we are following those who would lead us back into the bondage.

We cannot afford to spend our life in the wrong endeavor, walking down a false path or following leaders who instill confusion and spiritual frustration.  Our lives are short and should not be wasted on a pretense of peace and safety, no matter who the leaders are.  We must follow Jesus Christ.  He stood on the hill side outside of Jerusalem and wept for the spiritual condition of the people.  He said how many time have I tried to protect you as a hen protects her chick but you would not seek that protection or come to the security that is in Jesus Christ.

It is our responsibility to choose the right leaders.  So how do we know what makes a good leader?  If we use the wrong criteria in choosing a leader is will be tragic.  As I get older I have less confidence in the people who say they are concerned about what happens to me.  We have all heard, “don’t fear, the government is here to solve all your problems”.  What should scare every American is that there are individuals in both political parties that are corrupt and cannot be trusted. Lying has become an art form among American politicians.

For the past several elections we have based the choice of our leaders on their looks, their speaking ability and their promises.  All may be good to have but these qualities do not make a good leader. Our choice of leaders should be based on the person’s character rather than their looks, their speaking ability and their promises.  The person’s character is who they are at their core being.  After all the mistakes of choosing leaders we should have learned one thing, bad character leads to bad leaders who make bad decisions.

What is amazing about the American public is their total ignorance in wanting to know who they are electing.  We must explore the background and qualifications of the person before allowing them to even become a candidate.  The person should have good character and virtue and be respectable.

As Americans we feel that all politicians lie to us and that there is no honesty or integrity to be found among them.   The reason we allow the politicians to lie to us is because we will not hold them accountable for their actions.  As the people of this nation we have chosen the leaders we want to follow--those who will give to us what we want, even if they must take it away from others.

The leadership of America fails to meet the qualifications of “being above reproach”.  Our leaders we elect to follow are intemperate, love money, and cannot manage their own affairs; do not have a good reputation with the people they represent.  It is important how a leader relates and conducts himself with his family.  If he has family issues then he is not capable of leading this country.  He needs to have his own house in order.

The leaders of this country have no regard for the truth and those who serve under them are no more than the minions of their evil masters.  We have massive cover-ups, lies, scandals, invasion of privacy, disregard of the Constitution and a war on Christian principles and beliefs.  Our elected officials act as if they are above the law.  As American citizens we have mortgaged our nation to foreign countries to the tune of $17 trillion dollars.  We finance terrorist organizations, we bomb the innocent with our drones, we oppress the poor, and we rob from the working man and woman and think this is the greatest country in the world.

Our freedoms have been taken away from us, our liberty is fast fading and our nation is divided, not down racial line as some would have us believe but by those who which to follow the Constitutional and those who are a law unto themselves—our elected leaders.

We act as if a few “God Bless America’s” will save us from the destruction that is coming our way. It is time to make the right choices for the leaders that we will follow.  The leaders we have chosen to follow are often responsible for the reaction to the problems in our lives.

Who will you follow?

Destroying American From Within

Before I start this rambling rant, let me say I believe God is in control of what is happening and that we are moving toward the final judgment upon the nations.  I just wish that there were enough American Christians who understood the seriousness of what is happening in the world.

As I look back over this year there are a few things that I stand in total amazement over.  Those who know me know I have no time for profession sports and that includes all sports.  Professional sports are the America drug of choice that has numbed the minds and intellect of this country.  Americans are plagued with the disease of stupid.  How can the general public be so hypnotized by an activity that is destroying their community, raising their taxes and robbing them of their hard earned income?  Whatever happens in this country will be our own doing.

One of the things that totally amaze me is the amount of time the American Christian’s spend on sports.  The world can be falling apart all around us, our economy is crumbling, we are at war to the point we have stretched our military personnel to the breaking point and to top that off, we could care less about the promises made to our men and women in the military because we are more concerned about our team making the playoffs.

Another thing I find amazing is the fans of these team act as if they are part of the team, “our team”, “we did great in recovering the ball” “our defense was unstoppable”, what is wrong with these people?   Do “your” team members come a visit you when you are in the hospital?  Do they help you find employment when you lost your job?  When is the last time one of “your” team members invited you over for dinner?  Here is a good one, when was the last time “your” team was willing to take a cut in pay so the police or firemen or teachers could get a raise? Yes, your tax dollars is supporting the professional sports.   When was the last time they wanted your taxes cut so it would not be a hardship on your community?  NEVER!  Yet, Americans allow these corporate welfare giants to steal tax dollars away to fill the pockets of the owners.  How can we be so stupid?

Another thing that I am amazed at is the total ignorance of the American people about what is happening in our communities, our states, our own government and the rest of the world.  There are very few people who can carry on an intelligent conversation about issues that impact their daily lives. Most Americans are only concerned about their own issues.  We have become a society that is self-centered and lacking in empathy for their fellow man.

We have allowed ourselves to be deceived.  The news media is deliberate in its misrepresentation of facts.  That includes every news media outlet.  The elite manipulators of mass media cannot afford to have random objective journalism—they must interpret the facts as they want us to see them. As Americans we subscribe to our own brand of Kool-Aide. After all, the daily events occurring around us are much too confusing for the average American.  Keep this in mind, individual interpretation of events does not foster a well-controlled society.  What is the common term we have become so accustomed to—the spin on the story.  We no longer have a news media reporting the news we have a propaganda machine controlling the thoughts of the public with deceitful reporting.

Case in point, Syria.  Assad is a murderous tyrant, killing his own people, using chemical weapons to bring about their destruction.  This is excuse enough for the invading of a sovereign nation.  Although there are murderous tyrants all over the world doing their own thing and we turn our backs on the people suffering in those nations.  Why?  We can’t be expected to be the policeman for the entire world now can we?  What are the criteria for us going to war with a nation we no longer like?

Enter the news media.  They will try to stir up the American public to the importance of stopping this child-killing brutal godless tyrant who is a major threat to the peace and safety of the world—especially America.
Another amazing thing I have observed this past year is the number of people who pretend to be something they are not.  How many “patriots” have turned out to have their own agenda and America was not part of the agenda.  We have the neocons Republicans who always are wanting to go to war-- they are protecting America.  From what?  When was the last time a Syrian solider was seen sneaking around your backyard?  It is understandable why the rest of the world hates us.  We have people who have ordered the killing of thousands of innocent civilians, to push an agenda for the world elite manipulators. Then we have the progressive-Democrats who want to arm those who are fighting against us.  How stupid is this?  Why would we want to arm any country that has the potential of falling to the enemy?  Both sides are trying to be something they are not—patriots.

Then on the home-front we must listen to those who pretend to have a concern for the American citizens.  They are the “experts” that pretend to know what is happening. Listen to the “experts” and you will become a “doomsday-prepper”.  The “experts” have been telling us since, what 1973 that the world’s oil will be gone in a short time.  Still the oil companies are making money, cars are still running, factories are still producing goods and the oil outlook has not changed.  So the “experts” come along and tell us if we don’t have more government control our economy will suffer.  We get the control and what happens-we suffer, with millions out of work.  We have “experts” that tell us we need more programs favoring the illegal minorities but when Americans speak out about this--we are practicing a form of racism that is dividing our country.  The “experts” tell us we need more laws to protect us from terrorist--we get more laws and now we need to be protected from the Homeland Security trained police and the TSA agents that violate our elderly and children.

I know I have come a long way around to the reason for disliking sports.  As Americans we are distracted.  Bread and circuses, gladiators and simulated wars worked for the Caesar’s of Rome.  The people need to be kept in the dark about what is happening in this country and around the world.  Sports has become the Roman Arena keeping Americans distracted while a world agenda is carried out by a few elite manipulator. It is not the distractors who are playing while America burns, it is the American citizens.

How can you say you love this country when it is crumbling all around us and you have no idea what is happening?  Get your head out of the sand and speak out against the lies that are being told daily by our government, the news media and those who have been elected to represent us before it is too late.

American Tax Dollars Support Killing Christians

Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution. 2 Timothy 3:12

As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith. Galatians 6:10

And they cried with a loud voice, saying, how long, O Lord, holy and true, dost thou not judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell on the earth? Rev.6:10

It has been a fact all down through history the Christian faith, those who live godly have suffered persecution and it has been the responsibility of Christians to look after the household of faith.  The result of this godly life and interest of taking care of their fellowman has cost many their lives.  In the past few years the number of Christians who have been killed for their faith has increased.  As American Christians we should be looking at the household of faith and the needs of those who are suffering for the cause of Jesus Christ but we have been silent to long.

Often as Christians we are asked to stand up for what we believe.  Here in America we are often asked to sign petitions, march in protest of abortion clinics, send letters to our elected officials concerning the liberalization of our education but when it comes to supporting the Christians who live in countries that are hostile to Christianity we are silent. This is my statement of concern for the religious freedom of Christians in countries receiving financial and military aid from the United States.  It is my intent to bring about action by our government to stop sending aid to countries that persecute Christian by challenging American Christians to take action on the part of our fellow Christians.

Christians in America may be concerned about not saying Merry Christmas and replacing it with Happy Holidays or, if they can display the Nativity Scene in the public square or, if the Ten Commandments could be displayed on the courthouse lawn.  This is all important, but how can we forget the Christians who have been driven from their homes, lost they source of income, had their place of worship burned to the ground, or family members murdered because they are Christians?  How many time have we witnessed a Christian beheaded because of their faith?  How many of us have lost family and friends to those who want to stop the Christian faith?  When was the last time someone was put in prison for passing out Bibles or even witnessing to someone about their salvation?

I do not like to think that my tax dollars are supporting the murder of Christians but it is evident Christians are dying at the hands of those we support with our taxes.  The persecution of Christians in countries that are receiving financial and military aid from the United States should stop now.  American Christians are being taxed to send money to countries that are hostile to Christians.  Countries like Saudi Arabia and Israel.  (I am about to offend both Muslims and Jews.) Both countries are valued allies of the United States and both violate Christian beliefs and practices.

As American Christians we should be concerned about these two countries.  Our government gives billions of dollars to these two countries. The Bush administration agreed to a large increase in annual military aid to Israel.   Annual military grants to Israel represent over 20% of the Israeli defense budget. U.S. military aid will increase from $2.4 billion in 2008 to $3.1 billion a year through 2018. About 75% of the aid is spent on American weaponry and services. (Israel itself in 2006 was the 9th largest arms exporter in the world.)
”Israel enjoys other privileges. While most countries receiving U.S. military aid funds are expected to use them for U.S. arms, ammunition and training, Israel can spend part of these funds on weapons made by Israeli manufacturers. Also, when it spends its U.S. military aid money on U.S. products, Israel frequently requires the U.S. vendor to buy components or materials from Israeli manufacturers. Thus, though Israeli politicians say that their own manufacturers and exporters are making them progressively less dependent upon U.S. aid, in fact those Israeli manufacturers and exporters are heavily subsidized by U.S. aid.

Israel also receives foreign aid from some other countries. After the United States, the principal donor of both economic and military aid to Israel is Germany. By far the largest component of German aid has been in the form of restitution payments to victims of Nazi atrocities. But there also has been extensive German military assistance to Israel during and since the Gulf war, and a variety of German educational and research grants go to Israeli institutions. The total of German assistance in all of these categories to the Israeli government, Israeli individuals and Israeli private institutions has been some $31 billion or $5,345 per capita, bringing the per capita total of U.S. and German assistance combined to almost $20,000 per Israeli. Since very little public money is spent on the more than 20 percent of Israeli citizens who are Muslim or Christian, the actual per capita benefits received by Israel’s Jewish citizens would be considerably higher.”  By Richard H. Curtiss Former U.S. Foreign Service Officer

The Bush administration made the announcement of its $30 billion, 10-year military aid agreement with Israel to coincide with a separate deal to sell $16.7 billion in weaponry to Saudi Arabia.   The largest single recent U.S. foreign military sale to Saudi Arabia was a $9 billion contract for 72 F-15S fighter aircraft. The contract was signed in May 1993, and delivery of the F-15S aircraft was completed in 1999

America is supporting both these countries at a rate higher than we take care of our own people.   But, how do these countries treat Christians?  Let’s start with Israel the nation we feel we must give $30 billion dollars plus to each year.  The nation that Christian Zionist believe they are supporting “God’s Chosen People” is not so kind to their benefactors.  So how do the treat the followers of Jesus Christ?

In December of 1977 the Israeli government passed a law that made missionaries liable to five years’ imprisonment for attempting to persuade people to change their religion, and three years’ imprisonment for any Jew who converted. On April 1, 1978, the law prohibiting the offering of “material inducement” for a person to change his religion went into effect. A material inducement could be something as minor as the giving of a Bible.  Anti-Christian speeches were made in the parliament during debate on this law and one Parliament member called missionaries “a cancer in the body of the nation.”

Jewish religious leaders supported a religious ruling that copies of the New Testament should be torn out of any edition of a Bible owned by a Jew. Desecration of Christian property and churches—arson, window breaking, burning of the New Testament has be the history of the Jews toward the Christian community.  Some Jews wanted no Christians, whom they considered fallen Jews, in Israel. But Israel does not want the world to know they are in conflict with the Christian world: it couldn’t survive without it. This hatred, this violence, is the result of thousands of years of anti-Christian hatred by the Jews and everyone wants to pretend it does not exist.

Saudi Arabia-- there are Christians in Saudi Arabia, but it is listed as the second most difficult country to be a Christian.  All citizens must adhere to Islam and conversion to another religion is punishable by death. Public Christian worship is forbidden; worshipers risk imprisonment, lashing, deportation and torture. Evangelizing Muslims and distributing non-Islamic materials is illegal. Muslims who convert to Christianity risk honor killings.

Blasphemy against Sunni Islam is also punishable by death, but the more common penalty is a long prison sentence.  Religious freedom is virtually non-existent. The Government does not provide legal recognition or protection for freedom of religion, and it is severely restricted in practice and the public practice of non-Muslim religions is prohibited.  The sentencing of a Lebanese Christian in May of this year to lashings and imprisonment for converting a Saudi coworker put the spotlight on the laws of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and its intolerance of the Christian faith.

Let me add this, if Israel and Saudi Arabia have a problem with the Christian faith that is their right, but it is also our right not to send money or military aid to countries that deny Christians the right to worship the LORD in those countries.  If they are so offended by our Christian faith then don't take our money.  These same people come to this country and expect to be treated with respect and the right to practice their religion.  The same should apply in their country.

The United States government has been indifferent to its obligation to speak out against reigns of terror now being plotted and waged against Christians. We know that the United States government has within its power and discretion to adopt policies that would limit the reigns of terror and protecting the rights of Christians.

It is time for the Christians of America to take a stand against the U.S. government’s support of countries that deny Christians religious freedom.  Religious liberty is a God-given right.  It is the very foundation America was founded on and has for years defined the people of America.  It is the responsibility of Christians to get our government to do everything we can to secure the religious liberty of Christians suffering from persecution.  It is time to end our silence and to speak out against the persecution of our Christian brothers and sisters.  Christians have supported the religious freedom of Jews and Muslims while they in turn have continued to deny Christians the same freedom.

It is time to remove our elected official from office who do not support stopping aid to countries that our persecuting Christians.  Let’s support our fellow Christians around the world.

By the way, those who will say Christians benefit from this aid are wrong, both countries I mentioned don't help Christians so there is no loss of aid or benefit.
