What Will You Do With Jesus the Christ?

In every corner of the globe, whether under totalitarian rule, democratic governance, or regimes that fall somewhere in between, people face a pivotal decision: what stance will they take regarding Christ?

Pilate saith unto them, What shall I do then with Jesus which is called Christ? They all say unto him, Let him be crucified. Matthew 27:22

This is not just a personal choice but one with societal implications. In the United States, a nation founded on principles that include religious freedom and expression, we are witnessing an undeniable shift—a growing intolerance toward Christians and their values. The crowd is crying crucify.

Intolerance toward Christians appears to be on the rise in the United States. One very dangerous symptom of this upward trend is government officials and entities targeting Christian churches, organizations, and individuals for prosecution or punishment based on their religious beliefs.

Family Research Council analyzed open-source documents, reports, and media outlets to identify religious freedom violations perpetrated by Western governments against Christian individuals, organizations, and churches in 34 countries. Between January 2020 and December 2023, 168 incidents across 16 countries have been identified .

This trend is alarming and demands our attention. It is no longer as straightforward to profess one's faith openly without encountering skepticism or outright hostility. This can manifest in various ways, from social media attacks to workplace discrimination. The cultural landscape has shifted dramatically; what was once broadly accepted now often faces criticism or dismissal. As this intolerance grows, it challenges the very fabric of our society—one that prides itself on diversity and acceptance.

Christians must be prepared to stand firm in their beliefs while engaging thoughtfully with those who oppose them. This requires courage and conviction but also dialogue and understanding. We cannot afford to be passive observers in this cultural shift; instead, we must actively participate in shaping a future where faith can coexist with differing viewpoints without fear of reprisal or marginalization. Our voices and actions are crucial in this process.

The decision about Christ is not just an individual choice but a collective crossroads for society at large—one that will define how we coexist amidst diverse beliefs and values. It’s time for each person to reflect deeply on where they stand and how they will contribute to this critical conversation about faith in public life.

Being a witness to the transformative power of God's grace is not about reciting scripture or outlining spiritual laws. It's about sharing the personal journey of salvation that has profoundly reshaped your life. We must embrace this responsibility with authenticity and conviction, understanding that our experiences speak louder than any memorized verse.

When we share our stories, we connect on a human level, demonstrating how faith has tangibly impacted us. This isn't about theological debates or religious jargon—it's about real-life change and the undeniable presence of divine intervention in our lives. By openly discussing how God's grace has moved us from darkness to light, we become living testimonies of His love and mercy.

Our personal narratives have the power to inspire others more than any doctrine ever could. So let's step forward boldly, ready to recount how salvation has rewritten our paths and infused our lives with purpose and hope. In doing so, we not only honor God but also extend an invitation for others to experience His transformative grace firsthand.
