Our Father and my God, I come before You in the name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, lifting our brothers and sisters across the world who suffer for His name.
Lord, You see Your people in Gaza, Syria, North Korea, China, Iran, Israel, and in every land where faith in Christ brings hardship, danger, and loss.
You know their tears.
You hear their prayers.
You count their suffering.
Your Word tells us that many of Your children walk through persecution— indeed, millions today face hostility, imprisonment, and even death for following You.
So we ask:
Father, be their shield.
Surround them with Your protection amid violence and uncertainty.
Be their courage.
When fear rises, remind them that You have overcome the world.
Be their strength.
When they are weak, carry them. When they are weary, renew them.
Be their peace.
In chaos and suffering, let the presence of Christ quiet their hearts.
Be their faith.
When everything around them shakes, anchor them firmly in Jesus Christ,
the Author and Finisher of their faith.
Lord, for those imprisoned—be their freedom.
For those grieving, be their comfort.
For those facing death, there is eternal hope.
Strengthen Your Church, O God.
Let not persecution silence the Gospel, but let it shine brighter in the darkness.
Unite us as one Body— that we may not forget those who suffer,
but stand with them in prayer, in truth, and in love.
And may the name of Jesus Christ be glorified
in every nation, in every trial, and in every life surrendered to You.
For Yours is the Kingdom,
and the power,
and the glory, forever.
Amen.
